Helping you and your horse be the best you can be.
That’s the heart of Kt’s Natural Performance Horses!
I’ll work with you and with your horse, starting from the ground up. That means, we’ll work at the pace that’s best for your horse and that’s best for you.
As we work together to build a strong foundation, it gives you both the opportunity to fill any holes that are keeping you from getting the results you’re after. Or, if we’re starting from scratch, we’ll get to avoid those dreaded holes from the beginning!
Trainer, instructor, and lifelong horse girl!
(Mexican food and Dunkin Donuts iced coffee are also at the top of my list!)
As an avid student of the horse, I love to share what I’ve learned.
Natural horsemanship is at the heart of my program.
That means I take the time to understand each horse on an individual level.
Horseback since childhood, I’ve spent years learning multiple disciplines.
Whether it’s dressage, hunters, eventing, cutting, ranch, or reining, I’m always looking to figure out how the horse’s mind and body works, and how he or she is processing what I’m teaching at that moment.

My goal in training is to build confidence and help your horse understand each part of the process.
That solid foundation is what creates a well-rounded horse in every discipline.
The same is true for my lesson program—I take the time needed to teach you how to communicate with your horse using your body language and posture.
I’ll help you become the confident rider you’ve always dreamed you’d be.
I promise to give you my all,
be honest, and be your biggest fan.
How can I help you?
From the very beginning of Posh’s training as a yearling to starting her under saddle to my first rides on her, Kaitlyn was very careful, kind, and consistent.
Posh remained in training for her first summer under saddle and made amazing progress in her program. I also gained confidence and learned how to build my relationship with her throughout the process. Kaitlyn is a very talented and versatile horsewoman!

Training the horse is like a pyramid.
Everyone wants to get to the top and be jumping, spinning, or doing lead changes.
What the horse needs is the slow, boring foundation work first.
I’ll almost guarantee that if you skip these parts, you will find holes in your training down the road.
Sure, your horse can probably go out and perform all these things, but my educated guess is they are probably mediocre.
